Most trims feature a traditional part-time 4WD system, though you can upgrade to a full-time system on the Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon. V8 models get full-time 4WD standard.

Two-door Wrangler models can haul up to 2,000 pounds, while four-door models powered by the four-cylinder or V6 can pull up to 5,000 pounds. The heavy V8 variants rate at 3,500 pounds of trailering.
